  • www.nwei.org:  Northwest Earth Institute, located in Portland Or. You can take part in free discussion groups in your neighborhood. Wonderful resource and a great way to met great people. Type in “eco tips” in the search bar and you will find some incredible info.
  • www.oeconline.org/kidshealth/tinyfootprints: Wonderful site for families, everything to do with healthy living in the Portland area.
  • www.miradorcommunitystore.com: Wonderful kitchen and home products, all using products from the earth.
  • www.greenposting.org: Review, rate and locate local sustainable businesses. More than a directory, its a community website.
  • www.kookoolanfarm.org: One of the best local farms in the Portland area.  Rabbit, duck, chicken, turkey, geese, grass fed beef, eggs from pastured chickens, cheese making supplies and more.
  • www.inspirationplantation.com   Yet another great farm located in Ridgefield WA. right off of I-5, 15 minutes from Portland, eggs, chickens, grass fed lamb, and pastured pigs
